Between Us is a trading name of Cristina Gorincioi, a sole trader (“we”, “us”, “Between Us”). You can reach us at hello@betweenus.guide.

You confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your country and, if you are buying on behalf of a company, that you have authority to bind it.

Between Us publishes personalised digital guides to restaurants and coffee places. Guides are delivered as PDF files for personal, non-commercial use. Each guide is watermarked with the buyer’s name, email, and order reference.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns.

Payment terms, billing, tax, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms, together with our own Refund Policy. Prices shown at checkout are the amounts you will be charged; applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle.

After a successful purchase you will receive an email with a signed download link for your guide. Links stay active for 7 days and allow up to 2 downloads. If your link expires or you lose access, use the resend page to request a fresh one, or write to us.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to download and read the guide for personal use. You must not:

• resell, redistribute, upload, or publish the guide in whole or in part;
• remove or alter watermarks, copyright notices, or security features;
• use the guide for any unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing purpose;
• interfere with the site’s security, scrape it, or attempt to access it in unauthorised ways.

All content on the site and inside the guides — text, photography, maps, layouts, branding, and code — is owned by Between Us or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

We work to keep the site and downloads available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Recommendations reflect our own experience at the time of writing; venues change hands, close, or change their offer, and we are not responsible for those changes.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site or to a guide if you materially breach these terms, if a payment is reversed or charged back, or if we detect fraud, abuse, or a serious security risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose). Our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with a guide is capped at the amount you paid for that guide in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the site or a guide, or from your breach of these terms.

We may update these terms as the site evolves. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the seller’s country of residence, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you where you live.
